COMMITED TO REAL CHANGE
We are a non-profit organization founded by the Lederer family — a family with a member on the autism spectrum (ASD). A bright child who has shown us life in countless different ways, challenging and enriching us every day. His journey inspired our mission: to build a safe and friendly environment where children with his condition can grow secure, happy, and independent.
On January 16, 2016, after receiving the news of our infertility, we founded Lazos de Sonrisas to support children in vulnerable conditions. With our son’s autism diagnosis in 2019, we redirected the foundation’s purpose toward the comprehensive inclusion of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).Through awareness, education, and the empowerment of families and communities, we work in key areas such as health, education, employment, and public spaces to promote a more inclusive environment.
Mission
To raise awareness and empower families and communities to become Agents of Change and Promoters of Inclusion for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), impacting key areas such as health, education, employment, and public, sports, and artistic spaces — enabling effective inclusion and the full exercise of their fundamental rights.​
Vision
To contribute to the creation of a more knowledgeable, empathetic, aware, empowered, and inclusive world toward ASD, one that ensures the fulfillment of the fundamental rights of individuals with this condition, while fostering the development of the skills needed to build their life project, and to live happily, autonomously, and independently.
